The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They even left a bottle of wine and homemade chocolate yule log as a festive treat. The accommodation had a homely feel, especially with the log burning stove. It was also in a great location, close to a friendly village and conveniently located for day trips in all directions.
We didn't realize how close they would be to the cottage until we arrived. the distance to the town was further than we expected.

The room at Roe Deer Cottage was like a cozy hideaway in nature. I felt instantly at peace surrounded by the beautiful countryside. The two bathrooms were a bonus, and the shower felt refreshing. It's perfect for nature-lovers like me.
Personally, I felt the shower pressure could have been stronger. But hey, I'm sure some people find it relaxing.

Our stay at Roe Deer Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The cottage exceeded our expectations - it was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it had everything we needed, including accommodating our furry friend. The owner, Fiona, was incredibly welcoming and made sure to personally greet us upon arrival. Communication with her was excellent throughout our stay. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere while still being close to all the main tourist attractions. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The sun terrace was fabulous, just perfect for working on my tan while sipping a cocktail. The parking was a lifesaver, I mean, who wants to walk all the way to the property? And yes, towels were freely available, so I didn't have to bring my own.
Oh, how I hated the fact that I wasn't able to host a wild party without anyone noticing. So disappointing!
